    You say this.

    You say Metallica;
    I say Taking Back Sunday.
    I want a host of emotions, not just anger and fear and death.

    You say Megadeth;
    I say AFI.
    Music without the drugs; they're all clean.

    You say Pantera;
    I say Panic at the Disco.
    Because I can understand them, and their words are beautiful.

    Yeah, I've listened to all of these bands.
    Not all of their songs suck, but they only go so far.
    I'm tired of people thinking that music is all heavy metal and anger and death. It's about beauty and melodies and words that flow off the tongue and inspire, as well. People who think music is confined to one genre don't love music. The end. Metal is okay, not the only way.
    & PS the 80s weren't ruled by metal either. Try some Cure or Sisters of Mercy or some Depeche Mode.

    Or some Emilie Autumn or Crüxshadows or some Young Veins.

    Soooo. Suck my bereft balls.
    :P
